Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

To use the Mylo Campus App, you must:

• Be a currently enrolled student at a recognized educational institution
• Possess a valid school-issued email address
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify your student status at any time. If you are found to be ineligible, your account will be suspended pending review. You will be notified and given an opportunity to provide proof of eligibility before any permanent action is taken.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access the features of the App, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your full name, email address, phone number, school, and expected graduation year
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any other person
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at school@mylocampus.ca

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Mylo Campus will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the App to misrepresent your student status or eligibility
• Share, sell, or transfer your account or any discounts obtained through the App to another person
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its underlying systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated any of these acceptable use requirements.

4. Discounts and Offers

The App provides access to student discounts and promotional offers made available by third-party merchants and partners ("Offers"). With respect to these Offers:

• Mylo Campus does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or continued availability of any Offer
• All Offers are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective merchant or partner
• Mylo Campus is not a party to any transaction between you and a merchant and is not responsible for any disputes arising from such transactions
• Offers may be modified, suspended, or removed at any time without prior notice

Mylo Campus does not currently process payments or transactions within the App. Any purchases made using discounts obtained through the App are made directly with the merchant. We may introduce in-app payment functionality in the future, at which point these Terms will be updated accordingly.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of Mylo Campus or its licensors and are protected by applicable Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use as a student. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the App without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mylo Campus disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
• That the information and content on the App is accurate, complete, or current

Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Mylo Campus and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data
• Any conduct or content of third-party merchants or partners

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the App exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

8. Privacy and Deal Analytics

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, saving deals, or redeeming offers, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We share anonymized and aggregated offer performance data (such as redemption counts, saved offer statistics, and campus-level engagement trends) with participating merchant partners and student councils to monitor and optimize their student discount offerings.

Location-based features may use Google Maps and the geocoding service provided by your device platform. When you search for an address, city, or postal code, your search text may be submitted to that provider to return suggestions and geographic coordinates. Recent deal and map searches may be stored locally on your device. Map locations, distances, and address suggestions are provided for convenience and may not always be complete, current, or accurate.

Where your verified school is linked to a participating student council, Mylo Campus may provide the council with your student ID, name, school email address, graduation year, and account registration status to administer and evaluate its student program. This access is limited to authorized council members, students at linked schools, and the council's documented purpose and agreement with Mylo Campus. Where required, we will obtain additional consent. We never sell your personal information.

9. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email.

Your continued use of the App following any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the App.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Failure to maintain eligibility as a student

If your account is suspended for eligibility reasons, you will be notified and given a reasonable opportunity to provide supporting documentation. If you wish to appeal a suspension or termination, please contact us at school@mylocampus.ca.

You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
